Day 0 – Why I Started OfflineLifeArchive

The beginning of my 180-day public writing journey and the privacy-first vision behind Offline Life Archive.

"Consistent small steps lead to massive long-term results. Keep pushing."

For the next 180 days, I’m starting something intentional.

I’m building a real privacy-first app called Offline Life Archive from scratch.

  • Not a tutorial project.
  • Not a clone.
  • Not a demo.

A production-ready product — with the goal of shipping it to the App Store and Play Store.

But this journey is not just about building an app. It’s about becoming product-minded in the AI era.

Today, I’m starting this as a 180-day mentorship journey.

  • One focused hour daily.
  • Clear architecture.
  • Security from Day 1.
  • Production discipline.

And along the way, I’ll be joined by Maya 🤖 — an AI-generated junior developer who will question my decisions.

Because in a world where AI can generate code, the real value of a developer is judgment.

  • AI can write syntax.
  • It cannot design systems.
  • It cannot own trade-offs.
  • It cannot think in layers.

Day 0 is about commitment.

Day 1 starts with architecture before features.

If you're a developer who wants to evolve beyond just coding — you're welcome to follow this journey.

🛑 What We Did NOT Use AI For

Very important.

We did NOT:

  • Auto-generate code blindly
  • Let AI decide architecture
  • Add features because AI suggested them
  • Skip thinking because “AI knows”

AI is a junior assistant.

Not a CTO.
